Invert-over-spinner vs a hydraulic cabinet: which bin washer you actually need

Most brochure machines in this category are hydraulic invert cabinets: clamp, tip, sealed box, recycle tanks, a six-figure capex. Johnson Wash Systems WBW-001 is the other architecture. Empty the bin. Invert it over a TIG-welded SS304 stand. A 60° spinner at 40 GPM and 300 PSI washes the interior. Water hits the floor.
When the stand wins
The stand wins when bins come home empty, you already have a drain, and the job is interior film — not a contract KPI that needs a logged, sealed cycle. Capex is an equipment PO, not a plant project. One operator. 208–240 V. A hose bib.
When you still need a cabinet
You need a cabinet if bins are heavy when dirty, if you cannot invert by hand, if the regulator wants captured effluent, or if you wash 660s and 1100s. WBW-001’s envelope is 40.75 × 36 × 8 in. That is a two-wheel bin stand. Do not force it.
Read the drawing pack before you compare quotes. If a vendor’s render does not match sheet 1 of WBW-001, they are selling a different machine.
